OXVA XLIM GO 2 Review

The OXVA XLIM GO 2 is a compact, refillable pod device designed for simplicity and ease of use. It combines a built-in 1500mAh battery, adjustable airflow, up to 30W of output, USB Type-C charging, and compatibility with multiple XLIM pod options. For users looking for a straightforward refillable pod system, the XLIM GO 2 offers a simple design without a traditional fire button or manual wattage adjustment. The device activates when you inhale, while the adjustable side airflow allows the draw to be altered to suit the pod and preferred vaping style. 

The XLIM GO 2 is part of OXVA’s XLIM range of pod systems. It is a reusable device that uses replaceable/refillable 2ml XLIM cartridges rather than a disposable pre-filled pod. The device has a built in 1500mAh rechargeable battery and provides an output range of 5-30W. It uses USB Type-C for charging and features adjustable side airflow. 

Unlike a traditional box-style vape device, the XLIM GO 2 does not use a fire button for normal operation. It is designed around an inhale-to-activate system, making the basic operation straightforward. A side mounted adjustable airflow control (AFC) allows the draw to be adjusted, making it suitable for both MTL (Mouth-to-Lung) and RDTL (Restricted-Direct-to-Lung) vaping, depending on the pod and airflow configuration. 

The XLIM GO 2 supports XLIM pods in 0.4Ω, 0.6Ω, 0.8Ω, and 1.2Ω resistances. OXVA recommends pairing the 0.4Ω and 0.6Ω pods with freebase e-liquids; such as Hale or BMG/Kinship for a RDTL vaping style. The 0.8Ω and 1.2Ω pods perform best when used in conjunction with nicotine salt e-liquids like ELFLIQ for a flavourful MTL experience. The XLIM GO 2 incorporates OXVA’s UNITECH 2.0 technology which OXVA describes this as using a five-layer cotton structure, optimised fibre arrangement and a bottom-positioned coil structure, designed to provide consistent flavour and improved resistance to leaking. 

It also features a hidden breathing LED that displays the remaining battery level when the device is used. Green indicates 60-100%, blue indicates 20-60%, and red indicates 0-20%. There are also separate warning flashes: red 10 times indicates low battery, red 5 times indicates high temperature, and red 3 times indicates a short circuit. A blue light flashing 3 times indicates the device has reached its 8-second vaping protection.
